Personal Emergency Response
Outreach is proud to have had the honor of serving Texans for over 30 years with Personal Emergency Response Services (PERS). We have recently transitioned this part of the business to our longtime partner VRI. If you or a loved one has received PERS services from Outreach, you are likely familiar with VRI; they are the friendly voice on the other end of the line. With this transition, VRI will continue to offer the same friendly Care Center Representatives answering button presses, the same service representatives maintaining your unit, and the same unit currently installed.
If you are receiving Personal Assistance Services (Home Care) in addition to Emergency Response, there will be no interruptions or gaps in your attendant services. Outreach will continue to provide your home care services. (This change only affects PERS services.)
